Network Cable Technology

| Students will gain knowledge and skills in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of modern voice and data network cabling systems. Focus will be on the use of industry tools, cable construction techniques, troubleshooting and repairs. Industry standards will be discussed concerning all aspects of copper-based and fiber optic-based cabling infrastructures. The integration, programming and maintenance of modern voice-mail and key telephone switch systems will also be covered. In cooperation with C-Tech Associates as well as many leading manufacturers, students will earn a certification when a weighted grade of 85% or better is achieved. |
