| Designed to enable students to gain entry-level
skills in retail stores and fast food establishments. Students
will become proficient in check-stand terminology/technology,
including how to operate electric/computerized cash register,
retail store policies and procedures. A review of basic math
skills, including decimals, fractions, and percentages. Students
will also learn human relation skills pertaining to the job
market including applying for jobs, interview behavior, job
retention, resume writing, proper grooming and an unpaid on-site
job internship. |
