Interior Design
This course provides students with entry level skills needed for employment or advanced college training in interior design and furnishings occupations. Students will learn basic skills in home and office furnishing and the equipment and services related to interior design. The course covers scale drawings, fabric, furniture, housing styles, color, design principles, and display techniques. Class activities include guest speakers, job skill training, and possible placement in a local interior design studio or department (usually an afternoon or evening class).
